ZULI is a producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist from Egypt whose music elides techno, jungle, grime and hip-hop. He co-founded the underground collective Kairo Is Koming (KIK) and alongside Asem Tag ran the Cairo club VENT from 2013-15, later mutating into a roving global club night and festival. He has released multiple records on Lee Gamble’s UIQ label as well as founding his own, irsh, alongside Rama, which has so far released two volumes in the did you mean: irish compilation series, featuring tracks by and with ABADIR, 3Phaz, El Kontessa, Itfll, Postdrone, Liliane Chlela, Seleem, Yaseen, Dakn and more.
