Little is known of Thorayya Kaddoura ثريّا قدّورة. She was a singer who lived in Jerusalem and is mentioned in Wasif Jawhariyyeh’s The Storyteller of Jerusalem, The Life and Times of Wasif Jawhariyyeh, 1904-1948. She likely moved to Egypt in the mid- to late 1920s and worked with Sayyed Shata, an Egyptian composer and oudist. “Soufounan Banaha Nouh” (“Ships Built by Noah”) was released by Baidaphon in either 1925 or 1926.
