Nazanin Noori نازنین نوری is a Berlin-based artist whose interdisciplinary work includes sound art, composition, live and lecture performance, installation, direction and text. With a formal education in theatre, film and media studies, she addresses the merging of sound, space, sculpture and post-dramatic poetry, focussing on atmospheric narratives. Her debut album FARCE (enmossed, 2020) was followed by a 54-minute sound piece HAAL, which premiered in 2021 at the Berliner Festspiele exhibition “The Sun Machine Is Coming Down” and was released by Deutschlandfunk Kultur. Her sound and room installations have been presented at EIGEN + ART Lab, Akademie der Künste and Transmediale, and she has performed at Villa Massimo, Berghain, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, La Gaîté Lyrique, CTM and the ICA among others. Her sound scenarios have been presented on radio stations internationally, including on Mutant Radio, Deep House Tehran and Refuge Worldwide, where she has held a residency since 2021.
