Kareem Samara كريم سمارة is an improviser and composer from London. He has worked extensively in theatre as a composer and has toured across the US and Europe with numerous musical projects. He combines the oud and Arabic percussion with loopers and samplers to create a new dialogue between himself and technology. The aim is to honour all his musical traditions, to challenge the empty political posturing of the music scene, and to use his music to advocate for a free Palestine through collective liberation.
