Distractfold is
a UK-based group of performers, composers and curators acting out of a shared passion
for the music and culture of our times. Coming from different continents and
diverse backgrounds, together they create a nexus of ideas and influences which
contribute to a unique voice. They commission and perform acoustic, mixed and
electroacoustic music by their peers as well as more established composers,
such as Steven Kazuo Takasugi, Hanna Hartman, Weston Olencki, Marek Poliks, Sabrina
Schroeder and Lori Freedman, leading to close collaborations and friendships.
