Basma Alsharif is a Palestinian artist and
filmmaker whose immersive work examines the legacies of colonialism through the
human-landscape-architecture relationship. Born in Kuwait and raised between
Gaza, France and the US, Alsharif's work presents radical geographies as a lens
through which to look at the politics of liberation and its opposite –
fascism.
